Trim Rx is a telehealth weight-loss program. You fill in an online health assessment then a licensed provider reviews it.
And if the treatment is appropriate for you, your prescription is sent to a partner pharmacy and shipped to your home.
There is no clinic visit and no insurance paperwork. The monthly price covers the consultation, the medication and delivery.
Self-pay only, and HSA or FSA cards are accepted.
The online health assessment costs nothing to complete.
Your provider sets the dose and adjusts it as you go.
A GLP-1 plan and a GLP-1 + GIP plan.

I have a full-time job and two kids, so clinic appointments just weren't possible for me. The intake wrapped up in under ten minutes. My doctor get back to me the next day, gave me feedback and asked some really important questions. After a few days refills arrived without me having any trouble.

About
The treatment is a once-weekly GLP-1 injection which is prescribed only after a licensed provider has reviewed your health assessment.
There are two forms: semaglutide, the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy, and tirzepatide, the active ingredient in Mounjaro and Zepbound, which acts on two receptors instead of one.
It copies a hormone that your gut already releases after a meal inside the body. GLP-1 binds to receptors involved in appetite and fullness, and the medication does the same job more strongly and for longer than the natural hormone does.
Tirzepatide adds GIP, a second gut hormone with a related role in how the body handles food and blood sugar.
It is a small injection which you take once a week on the same day. The dose starts low and steps up gradually on a schedule your provider sets, which is what keeps the early side effects manageable.
What the medication is designed to do is reduce appetite, slow digestion and steady blood sugar, so a smaller plate feels like enough. Most people notice the appetite change in the first week or two, with any visible change on the scale taking longer.
Taken under the skin, on the same day each week.
Compounded semaglutide, or compounded tirzepatide.
Syringes and written dosing instructions come with the shipment.
The dose steps up slowly, on your provider's schedule.

No surprise charges, no pressure on my dose
"My last telehealth provider silently charged me nearly twice the amount for the same compound without warning. With TrimRX, the monthly fee is laid out plainly and never shifts. My medication turns up chilled to the right temperature and exactly on time, and when I chose to hold at a lower dose that was working, no one pressured me to change it."

By the end of month three on Trim RX I was down 21 pounds, the intense cravings had quieted, and food stopped feeling like a battle. Knowing a real physician was actively watching my numbers made me feel looked after the whole time

Had my consultation with a nurse practitioner who actually took time to go through my medical history, felt like proper healthcare. Meds arrived 4 days later.

How GLP-1 treatment works
Traditional fat burners push your heart rate up and leave you with a crash. Trim Rx medications do the opposite - they copy a hormone your body already makes.
01
GLP-1 is a hormone that your gut releases after you eat. It tells your brain you've had enough. When that signal is weak, you stay hungry after a meal that should have been sufficient.
02
Semaglutide mimics GLP-1. Tirzepatide acts on two receptors, GLP-1 and GIP, at once. Either way the fullness message gets through more strongly, so eating less stops being a matter of willpower.
03
Food stays in the stomach longer, so you feel full for longer after a smaller plate. Most people notice the shift in appetite within the first week or two.
04
These drugs were developed for blood sugar control before they were used for weight, which is why steadier energy and fewer sugar cravings are commonly reported alongside the appetite change.
Once-weekly injection
Dose raised gradually
Appetite shift in the first 1-2 weeks
What this is not. A GLP-1 medication is not a stimulant or a fat burner, and it isn't a substitute for how you eat and move. Compounded versions are not FDA-approved, and results vary from person to person.
Benefits
01
Oversight
Your provider sets the starting dose and adjusts it based on how your body responds, rather than moving you through a fixed schedule. Dose changes cost nothing extra.
02
Comfort
Stomach discomfort are most common while the dose is going up, which is why the titration ramps slowly. Anything you notice goes to your prescriber, who can adjust the pace.
03
Privacy
Medication arrives at your door in plain, temperature-controlled packaging, with injection supplies and dosing instructions included.
04
Support
Message the care team through the patient portal whenever a question comes up, and phone support is open seven days a week, 6am to 6pm Pacific.
05
Simplicity
Assessment, prescription, pharmacy and refills all run through the same platform. No referrals, no insurance pre-authorisation, nothing to chase between appointments.
